As the world moves into a new decade, it is more important than ever for Autodesk to reaffirm its commitment to helping create a sustainable, resilient and equitable future for all. “The challenges we face – health, environmental, growing inequality and political instability – will test the resilience of companies, countries, ecosystems and the global community. While few of us predicted that recent events would shut down the global economy, it's easy to argue that we could, and perhaps should, have seen it coming and been more prepared. “This has been a wake-up call for leaders around the world,” said Andrew Anagnost, CEO of Autodesk during the company's annual sustainability report. This year's report reflects more than a decade of sustainability action momentum and shares Autodesk's journey to continue supporting its customers achieve sustainable results.
Committed to climate action In 2019, Autodesk achieved the science-based greenhouse gas reduction goal it set more than ten years ago. The company's carbon footprint is currently 43% lower thanks to greater efficiency, the promotion of offices and cloud services with 100% renewable energy and by acquiring carbon credits developed under the Gold Standard certification for both travel of Guatemala Mobile Number List business, as well as to neutralize the emissions of the main Autodesk events. Carbon credits are an international decontamination mechanism to reduce polluting emissions into the environment. Autodesk is also committed to making all of its businesses climate neutral starting in fiscal year '21. These types of efforts give the company the knowledge to be a better partner and help its customers achieve their own goals.

Additionally, to promote more active climate policy action and help create the policy environment necessary for Autodesk customers to become leaders in the low-carbon economy, last year the company shared Autodesk technologies and success stories who have made it possible, with the political leaders at the UN Conference on Climate Change, COP25. Diversity, Community and Belonging Autodesk is also committed to taking action to support racial justice and equality. The commitment to building a resilient, diverse and equitable culture at all levels within Autodesk is a work in progress. This spring, Autodesk's CEO made every employee an owner of the company through newly implemented stock grants. The company also aims to contribute 1% of operating margin to the Autodesk Foundation, to strengthen its work supporting entrepreneurs and innovators at the forefront of creating a positive global impact in low-income communities.
